As we celebrate
our anniversary,
God calls us to “Deepen our prayer life daily”.
So one morning I was reflecting on PRAYER, trying to
recall the teachings given by Bro. Fred Manibog, but as I am poor in
memorizing the Bible verses, the Lord gave me an easy means of
remembering the basic things on PRAYER, which I would like to share
with you.
 - ause. Put aside all your worries, disturbances and
worldly cares.
Purify your intentions. Place yourself in the
presence of the Lord.
 - aise your mind and heart to God. Raise your soul
to HIM.
Raise your whole being to HIM who cares for you
much more than you can ever imagine.
 - cknowledge HIS kingship. Acknowledge HIS mercy,
compassion, forgiveness and condescending love. Acknowledge HIS great power and might and
your total dependence on HIM.
 - ield to HIM. Say YES to His will. YES to all HIS
beautiful plans for you.
YES to His call for a closer union with HIM. And
as you surrender everything to HIM, you will
 - xperience HIS loving EMBRACE. You will be led to
embrace you because He has embraced you first. And as you rest in HIS loving arms, you will
- esolve never again to leave HIM. As with Peter on
Mt. Tabor, you would claim It is good for us to stay here.
