- I've met a lot of people who
always say the following words: "I can't change.”
- They explain by saying, "You see,
I can't change my environment. I can't change the people I work
with. I can't change my situation. So I really can't change my
life."
-
- This is how I respond: "Are you a
tree? Trees can't change the position of her branches. Trees can't
say, 'Hmm, I want a change of scenery. I think I'll walk over there
to the top of the hill.' Trees can't say, "My leaves are drying up.
I'll run to the river ten miles away and get a drink..."
-
- But you and I can. Because we're
not trees. We're humans! We can move. We can run. We can change our
scenery. We can go to the river if we feel dried up. We can live
somewhere else. We can do something else. We can be someone else. We
can change anything in our lives.
-
- On this seventh anniversary, I
challenge you: Change anything in your life that needs to change.
- Because you can.
-
- Does God want you become holier?
Does He want you to evangelize more?
- Does He want you to get rid of a
sin area? Does He want you to give up something?
- Does He want you to do something
specific for Him? Don't say you can't. Because you can!
-
- Change. Now.
-
- Remember: You're not a tree.
-
- Happy Anniversary, my friends!
-
- I remain your friend,
- I don't know of any way to holiness
except by becoming real before the Lord. But that I mean becoming
totally naked before Him.
