Beth ManibogThe Prayer of the Community - by Beth Manibog

Acts 2:42 “They were faithful to the teaching of the apostles, the common life of sharing, the breaking of bread and the prayers.”

One of the most wonderful privileges of being in the community is to be able to pray for one another. A member is assured that once a prayer is requested, not only one, but the entire community is pleading God to pour out His blessings upon the person in need of prayer.  God’s answer is assured as the Bible says, ”I say to you, if on earth two of you are united in asking for anything, it will be granted to you by my heavenly Father” (Matt 18:19).  When the community prays, you can only expect that God will work out His best for the intention lifted up in His name.

Being the head of the intercessory ministry, I have personally experienced God’s grace poured out when the community prays.  I believe that this act – prayer coupled with affection reflects the genuine love God commands us to do. Indeed, the prayers of the community are the most practical yet profound expression of our love for one another.  The entire community rejoices when the prayer is answered in accordance to God’s will.

In line with our 7th year anniversary, I am highlighting the messages of thanks for the prayers of the Community:

Vicky Nilo (thru Liza Caleda)
Gus' brother in law's operation went well and is now out of the ICU.  Thank you very much for all the masses and the prayers your community offered.

Susan Trinidad
I praise and thank God for keeping me safe all throughout our live coverages at Mal Taman Anggrek.  My sincere thanks to all who prayed for me.  God bless us all.

Celia Dimatangal
I would like to thank everyone in the community for the prayers and financial assistance you have offered for my son Joseph. I thank God's presence in every step of the way, and for giving strength to my son and feel less on all the side effects of the treatment. I thank God for his help and for all those who are around me who helped me come this far... I say a prayer of thanks for all of you in the community because without you this journey would be longer and more difficult.  The Lord God has touched my life and I realized that He is present even in-especially in – hard times. Praise be to God!

Weng Pamintuan
God is good and merciful all the time. I would like to immensely thank everybody in the community (especially you and Fred) who prayed for my niece, Pauline.  Once again, the power of prayers has borne good fruits.  The result of my niece's CT scan is so favorable.  He continues to overwhelm me with His love. All Glory to Him.

On behalf of the Care group of Fred/ Beth Manibog and Thor/Mariza Barleta:
We, the anniversary committee, would like to express our sincerest thanks to all of you who prayed and fast to make our anniversary celebration really special.  Indeed, it was so special that everyone felt the love and the care of each one in a big happy family. All glory and praises to Him, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
