- Kids, it’s EASTER!!! And what does it
mean? A number of you said in the first issue of THE G KIDSPACE*
last year that Easter means “JESUS IS RISEN!” How true!!! So let’s
take a look at what the Bible says about the day Jesus rose from the
dead. Complete the puzzle below by hunting, not for Easter eggs, but
for the right word from the word pool provided.

- Resurrection Morning
- (adapted from Nelson’s Giant Book of
Bible Activities for Kids)
-
-
- Very early in the morning, when the
Sabbath was past, (6 down)
Magdalene and Mary the Mother of James, and some other women went to the
(14 across)
where (11 down)
had been buried, to take more (8
across) to put on His body. On their way to the tomb,
they asked themselves, “Who will (10
across) away the (12
down) from the (17
across) of the tomb for us?” They knew the stone was too (5
across) for them to move by themselves. But when they
arrived, they saw that the stone had been rolled away, and they saw two
(13 down)
in (8 down)
(18 down). They
were (7 down)
. One of the angels said, “Do not be afraid. You seek Jesus of
Nazareth, who was (1 down)
. (15 across)
! He is not here. Go and tell this to the (20
across) . Tell them that Jesus has gone to Galilee and will
meet them there.”
- So they ran quickly to tell the
disciples what they have seen and heard. When (19
across) and John heard the (2
down) , they set out running for the tomb. John reached
the tomb first and saw the (4
down) cloth in which Jesus’ body had been wrapped. When Peter
arrived, he went inside the tomb and found also the cloth that had been
around Jesus’ head. Then Peter and John left to their own homes.
-
- Mary Magdalene had returned to the
tomb alone to look again for Jesus’ (16
down) that she feared had been (3
across) . She stood crying when Jesus Himself stood by
her. “Mary”, He said quietly. When she turned to look to see who was
speaking, she exclaimed, “ (9
across) !” Her tears turned to (11
across) as she ran into the city to tell the disciples that
she had seen the Lord (21
across) .

prayer in a very unexpected way? Did you, like Isaiah, meet God’s
whisper?
- Have you felt His
powerful hand working in your life recently?
- Everyday, people are
experiencing God’s mighty Word in their lives and it is a pity that very
few know about it. Do you have a story to tell? Some Good News to
share?
- E-mail us (genesis@catholic.org) or fax us
(021-6627384), and tell us about it. That’s right! You don’t have to be
a great writer to do this. We can help you write it – just tell us like
it is!
- Don’t forget to write
the subject: “Let Me Tell You A
Story”
