one day just to spend in a retreat house or a quiet place—a
seashore, a mountain top, or the adoration chapel of your parish.

- Perhaps December 26, after all the
family reunions are finished. Or December 29, before New Year
festivities start.
- No parties. No lechon.
- No music about Santa and Jingle
Bells blaring in your ear.
- Just let the Birthday Celebrant
commune with your heart.
- Give Him the gift of your silence.
Give Him the gift of your listening.
- Give Him the gift of your love.
