ANSWERS PRAYERS

I
used to be an ordinary Catholic.
Yes, I go to Mass on Sundays, recite the novena to our Mother
of Perpetual Help and pray the Rosary and I thought that was it. But
God has greater plans for me. He
helped me realize that there is more to my routines…He wanted me to
have a deeper and more meaningful relationship with Him, as I
acknowledge the Great Mediator between God and man and that is our
Lord Jesus Christ. And as a Catholic, I also believe in the powerful
intercession of our Mother Mary to Jesus as manifested in the miracle
at Cana.
When
I got married, I was childless for almost 5 years. You can just imagine the agony my husband Fred and I felt
whenever we see others carrying their babies and the heartaches we
experience in replying to the queries of our colleagues and relatives.
On top of these, there were doubts on my part as to whether I
am a whole person or not. In
all those 5 years, many people prayed for us, imploring God to give us
a child. We consulted several doctors and all confirmed that nothing
was wrong with us. But
God has a beautiful plan for us... little did we know that when we
stopped consulting the doctors and we
had totally surrendered everything to the Lord and fully trusted upon
Him and the faith of all those praying for us, will the Lord answer
our prayer. It took us 5 years of patiently waiting and continuously
praying.
Just
last May 28, we celebrated the 2nd birthday of our
daughter, our 2nd child.
Our first is a boy who is now 4 years old.
With 2 children around, I gave up working and now am a full
time housewife and a volunteer in the service of the Lord in the
Intercessory Ministry. Having been blessed through intercessory
prayers, I now pray, fast and intercede for the needs of others
together with the other members of the Intercessory Ministry and the
Community. It gives us
great joy whenever prayers are answered and witness how God moves in
every request lifted to Him. We cling to the Lord’s promise that
“whatever we ask the Father in His Name, He will grant it to us”. God is faithful and true to His promise. He lovingly answers
every prayer. Read on and
experience further the wondrous ways of the Lord in answering our
prayers. Indeed there is power in prayers.

Thanks
for your prayers. I started in my contract last Monday. Praise the
Lord. Also, the Lord has led me to make, I think, a good decision with
regards to my other contract.

I
want to offer a thanksgiving prayer for my very good friend Bang-Bang
de Silva Tan (wife of Jojo Tan), who gave birth to a very healthy baby
boy (8 lbs+) this morning at around 8 a.m. at the Rumah Sakit Pondok
Indah. While she had a cesarean incision, I am still thankful
that she just had one operation although the doctors diagnosed last
week a myoma which was obstructing the baby's passage way. At
least she did not have to worry about the myoma and had a peaceful
pregnancy. Praise and thanks to the Lord!!

and I would like to thank everyone who prayed for all our intentions:
For the healing of Donna Leopando who was diagnosed of lupus last
year. The Lord has healed her although not yet completely but at least
she can now walk and work normally. She continues to have her
monthly check-ups and laboratory tests. The doctor says that she
has still lupus. But with all her improvements over the one-year
period, we believe that the Lord is healing her. Her family also
extends their appreciation as well. We
have now moved to our new home near our offices and the school of our
sons Jed and Ryg. Thanks for all the prayers that we were able to
make the right decision.
