I sit in complete silence

          in a sacred place

          sharing all my prayers

          even though I don't see a face.

 

         A grin appears

          I thank Him for choosing me.

          He could have chosen many other people to listen to

           and many other places He could be.

 

        I am a special person to Him

         and so are you.

         Once you call on His name

          He will surely come to you.

 

Melina is the eleven-year old daughter of Bro. Chesley and Sis. Analee Masias of Genesis Surabaya. 

Asked to write about a “feeling” during poetry writing in class, Melina composed the above poem. A beautiful poem from a Divine inspiration!
