WHERE
IS GOD? HERE! by Fr. KJ. VEEGER, MSC
- Being
limited human beings of flesh and blood, we cannot experience and
define the Kingdom of God, who is infinite and pure Spirit. We can
only talk about God and His Kingdom if we take off from the
contemporary experience of our existence in the world and from
within it. READ MORE

LOOK
TO THINGS THAT ARE UNSEEN by Philip Yuson
- Another new
year - new hopes and new aspirations. Dare I say new fears and
hardships? But looking at this, a Christian's life is indeed full of
difficulties. But what makes us different is that we have hope.

A
FRESH START by Carolle Bautista
- I was not
in the best of health one day, and feeling immobile, I could do
nothing but stare at the trees outside our home and admire God's
creation. The wind blows and the branches sway, the leaves dance to
music so peaceful, emanating from the very essence of nature. I must
have looked outside for hours to no end, until I was lost in sleep.

GIVE
LOVE, GIVE HOPE THIS NEW YEAR by Beth Manibog
-
Maybe the physical giving of gifts hinders us from really
sitting down and sincerely asking them how they were. Maybe because
we did not want to interfere with their real problems or probably we
find time, as always an excuse - with so many things to do with very
little time. In previous years I wondered, did we really go home to
spend time with our loved ones or to attend to so many other things?

Saint
for the Month: ST. FRANCIS DE SALES
-
For St. Francis, the love of God was like romantic love. He
said, "The thoughts of those moved by natural human love are almost
completely fastened on the beloved, their hearts are filled with
passion for it, and their mouths full of its praises. When it is
gone, they express their feelings in letters, and can't pass by a
tree without carving the name of their beloved in its bark.
