Beth ManibogSEEK GOD FIRST

We had a wonderful gathering that night of February 20, 2004, when the Lord allowed three of our gifted community servants to serve His people in the General Assembly at Istana Kana.  We were bleInspiring preaching given by Bro. Fred Manibogssed to have Bro. Benny Caleda who inspired us with his exhortation from the book of Isaiah 40:31: “…those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles...”  The word of the Lord during the worship was further confirmed by the very inspiring preaching given by Bro. Fred Manibog who emphasized that as Christians, we have to seek our God first, trusting Him in every detail of our lives, then and only then, will we experience the pure blessings of the Lord.  Of course, our assembly will not be complete without the prayer meeting leader, our very able Head Servant, Bro. Pete Lapid. 
 
Bro. Alfons and Sis. Jessica from KKKAThe night was also a chance for us to welcome back Bro. Alfons and Sis. Jessica from our Indonesian sister community, Komunitas Keluarga Kudus Allah (KKKA).  They shared with us a beautiful action song, “The Great Awakening” which they learned from their recent 3-months missionary formation in the Philippines.  
 
On February 22, 2004, during tEUCHARISTIC MINISTERS- Front row (l-r) Faraidi Rivai-Malik, Emma Kartadjoemena, Linda Kalona, Fe Anicete, Fr. Binzler, Virginia Rech, Mimi Loh, Vinolia Suriyanto, Basri Ramali and Jim Osterkamp; Back row (l-r): Bert Anicete, Eric Bunag, Mike Fran, Christopher Camello, Errol Tan, Lito Monzon and Pete Lapidhe 11:00 am. Mass at the Sta. Theresia Church, sixteen (16) Special Ministers of the Holy Communion for our beloved St. Peter Canisius Expatriate Parish were formally installed. We are glad that our Head Servant, Bro. Pete is one of them. Congratulations to the newly installed Eucharistic Ministers! Our Parish is indeed blessed to have you all. See their joyful smiles on the photo (above) with our Parish priest, Rev. Fr. Siegfried Binzler, SJ.
 Fr. Noel celebrates Holy Mass assisted by Fr. Arthur from the ICPE Mission
Our dear Fr. Noel Villafuerte celebrated with us the First Friday Charismatic Mass for the month of March. We were also blessed by the surprise visit of Fr. Arthur, an Italian priest from the Institute for World Evangelization ICPE (International Catholic Program for Evangelization Mission) in Manila, who concelebrated the Mass with Fr. Noel (left photo).  The Eucharistic celebration was further made special by the inspiring performances of our sisters from KKKA’s Creative Ministry (photo below). They interpreted for us the songsThe KKKA dancers Forever, God is Good All the Time and I Offer My life.      
 
We invite you all to join us every first and third Friday of the month and experience a higher level of praise and worship, and a deeper love for God.
