 LOVE
IS IN THE AIR

Allow me to greet all of you, Happy Valentine’s Day! Well,
as commanded by our Lord, everyd ay
should be a love day, right?
Because of the tremendous love of God for our Community,
He brought to us Fr. Leonardo Polinar, PACEM, together with Fr. Raul
Dumadag, PACEM, and Sis. Fe from the Philippines to celebrate with us our
First Charismatic Mass. Fr. Polinar gave such an inspiring homily on how
much God loves us. Well, we’ve heard it since we were kids that God loves
us so much that He gave us His Only Begotten Son… However, hearing Fr.
Polinar explain this tremendous love in another viewpoint, made us truly
wonder if we have given back to the Lord all the glory and the love that
He deserves. And because He loves us so much, not only did He die to save
us, He also transformed Himself in the form of a bread to be with us. And
more often than not, we ignore this wonderful gift t o
us.
As we longed for more messages from God, we had another
one-day seminar with Fr. Polinar about loving God and acknowledging Him.
We Christians should realize that Jesus is our God, our Savior and our
King. And as Christians, we should always be sensitive to His presence in
our lives, in the Holy Eucharist, in His Word (the Bible) and through
other people. We should acknowledge Him through our praises in our
everyday activities. The seminar culminated with the celebration of the
Holy Eucharist, followed by baptism of the Holy Spirit. Once again, our
members were inspired and empowered by God’s Spirit.
Once again, we are extending our invitation to all our
readers to join us every first and third Friday of the month for a special
communion with the Lord.
